Jesuit

A member of the Society of Jesus, a religious order founded by Saint Ignatius of Loyola and approved in 1540. Jesuit spirituality is strongly associated with the Spiritual Exercises, discernment, missionary service, education, intellectual apostolates, and service to the Church under the Roman Pontiff.
