Our Lady of the Rosary Holy Card – Gold Foil Laminated Rosary Prayer Guide

A Rosary begins with beads passing quietly through the fingers, but its destination is always the same: the life of Christ. This Our Lady of the Rosary Holy Card from Gerffert® brings together Marian devotion and a practical guide to praying the Holy Rosary in a compact card designed to be kept close at hand. The front features a beautiful Catholic image of Our Lady of the Rosary, framed by distinctive gold foil stamping, while the reverse provides an easy reference to all four sets of the Mysteries of the Rosary and the traditional days on which they are prayed.

For centuries, Catholics have turned to the Rosary as a prayer of contemplation, placing themselves alongside the Blessed Virgin Mary while meditating upon the mysteries of the life, Passion, death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Its prayers may be familiar, but the Rosary continually invites the faithful to look beyond the beads themselves and toward the events of the Gospel.

The reverse of this card makes that practice especially convenient. It lists the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries, providing all twenty mysteries together with their customary days of prayer. Whether used by someone learning the Rosary or by a lifelong Catholic who appreciates a quick devotional reference, the card can remain beside the beads as a simple guide.

The Joyful Mysteries, traditionally prayed on Mondays and Saturdays, contemplate the Annunciation, Visitation, Birth of Jesus, Presentation in the Temple, and Finding of Jesus in the Temple.

The Luminous Mysteries, traditionally prayed on Thursdays, follow the Baptism of Jesus, Wedding at Cana, Proclamation of the Kingdom, Transfiguration, and Institution of the Eucharist.

The Sorrowful Mysteries, traditionally prayed on Tuesdays and Fridays, accompany Christ through the Agony in the Garden, Scourging at the Pillar, Crowning with Thorns, Carrying of the Cross, and Crucifixion.

The Glorious Mysteries, traditionally prayed on Wednesdays and Sundays, contemplate the Resurrection, Ascension, Descent of the Holy Spirit, Assumption of Mary, and Coronation of Mary.

A crystal-clear laminated finish protects the cardstock and gold foil detailing from regular handling. At just 2-5/8″ × 4-3/8″, the card is conveniently sized for a Rosary case, Bible, missal, prayer book, purse, or devotional space.

It is especially useful for Rosary groups, parish ministries, OCIA and religious education, Marian devotions, Catholic schools, home prayer, and sacramental gifts. It can also be paired with a Rosary as a thoughtful addition to a Catholic gift.

Small enough to travel with the beads, this Our Lady of the Rosary Holy Card carries a map for the journey of the Rosary—from Nazareth to Bethlehem, from Calvary to the empty tomb, and finally toward the glory of heaven.

Twenty mysteries.

One life of Christ.

And Mary, always pointing toward her Son.
