The liturgical memorial by which the Church, obeying Christ’s command, recalls and sacramentally proclaims his saving Passion, Resurrection, and Ascension. In the Eucharistic Prayer, anamnesis is more than mental recollection: the one sacrifice of Christ is made sacramentally present in the Church’s celebration.
