Prayer to Saint Carlo Acutis in Spanish – Laminated Catholic Holy Card
He grew up with computers, played video games, went to school, loved his friends—and found the center of his life before the tabernacle. This Spanish Prayer to Saint Carlo Acutis laminated holy card honors the young Catholic saint whose remarkably ordinary modern life became an extraordinary witness to faith. Featuring a devotional image of Saint Carlo Acutis on the front and a prayer in Spanish on the reverse, this card offers Spanish-speaking Catholics a convenient way to seek his intercession and carry his example with them.
Born on May 3, 1991, Carlo belonged to the first generation to grow up surrounded by the internet and modern digital technology. Yet amid the distractions of contemporary life, he developed a profound devotion to Jesus Christ, particularly in the Holy Eucharist. Daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, prayer, and frequent Confession became foundations of his spiritual life. The Vatican’s account of his life recalls his deep Eucharistic devotion and his work creating websites, including his use of technology in service of Catholic faith and apostolates.
Carlo became especially known for using his computer skills to help spread awareness of the faith. His life offers a distinctly modern example of Catholic discipleship: technology did not have to lead a young person away from God; it could instead become a tool placed at His service.
In October 2006, at only fifteen years old, Carlo was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. His illness progressed rapidly. He offered his suffering for the Holy Father and the Church, received the Anointing of the Sick, and died on October 12, 2006.
His witness continued long after his death. Following his beatification in 2020 and the recognition of a second miracle attributed to his intercession, Carlo Acutis was canonized by Pope Leo XIV on September 7, 2025, in Saint Peter’s Square, together with Pier Giorgio Frassati. Pope Leo presented the two young saints as examples especially for young people, pointing to Carlo’s simple pattern of prayer, daily Mass, charity, and Eucharistic Adoration.
This laminated Saint Carlo Acutis prayer card in Spanish is particularly meaningful for young Catholics, students, families, Catholic schools, religious education programs, youth ministries, technology professionals, and those seeking a saint whose life speaks directly to the digital age.
Its compact size makes it easy to carry in a wallet, Bible, missal, backpack, or prayer book, while the lamination provides protection for regular devotional use. Printed in the USA, it also makes a thoughtful addition to sacramental gifts, youth ministry materials, parish distributions, and Catholic care packages.
Carlo lived only fifteen years.
But he understood something the modern world can easily forget: technology is a tool, not a destination. The destination is Christ.
For a generation raised online, Saint Carlo Acutis offers a remarkably simple path forward—use the gifts of the age, but keep your eyes fixed on eternity.
