Systematic and organic instruction in the Christian faith ordered toward communion with Jesus Christ and mature participation in the life of the Church. Catechesis develops the initial proclamation of the Gospel through formation in the Creed, sacraments, moral life, prayer, Scripture, and Catholic Tradition.
