Eucharist

The sacrament in which Jesus Christ gives his Body and Blood under the appearances of bread and wine and makes sacramentally present his one sacrifice of the Cross. The Eucharist is both sacrifice and sacred banquet, the memorial of Christ’s Passover, the Real Presence of Christ, and the source and summit of Christian life.
