A liturgical, theological, spiritual, and disciplinary patrimony through which a particular church lives the Catholic faith, or, more narrowly, a prescribed liturgical ceremony. The Catholic Church includes several ritual traditions, such as Roman, Byzantine, Alexandrian, Armenian, East Syriac, and West Syriac.
